Where are the servers?
In our provider’s data centres in Germany (Falkenstein, Nuremberg), Finland (Helsinki), Singapore and the USA (Ashburn, Hillsboro). You pick the location when you order. Cloud Asia runs in Singapore, the nearest to India.
Are prices in rupees, with GST?
Yes. All prices are in INR per month and 18% GST is added on the invoice. Businesses get a GST invoice with their GSTIN.
What is the difference between self-managed and managed?
Self-managed gives you root access and you run the server. Managed means we patch, back up and monitor it, and answer your tickets.
What uptime do you promise?
99.9% SLA on cloud servers, which is the data-centre provider’s SLA.
How fast is a server ready?
Within one working day after payment and customer verification. We confirm the set-up by mail.
Why do you ask for PAN or ID?
Our data-centre provider requires us to know every customer. Businesses give PAN or GSTIN, individuals a government ID. See customer verification.
