Business systems built or adapted for one company

Many businesses run on spreadsheets, paper and several tools that do not talk to each other. We build or adapt the systems you need so that your work is done in one place, in your own order.

What we build

A business system is software for the daily work of a company: keeping customer records, sending invoices, tracking inventory (stock), running staff attendance and payroll, or giving staff and partners a portal with their own login. Off-the-shelf products fit many companies at first and then stop fitting. Then people work around the software, and the workarounds cost time.

We build such systems for one business, or we adapt a system you already have. We begin with how you work today: who does what, which papers and reports exist and where mistakes happen. Then we agree in writing what the software must do, in milestones you can review as we go.

Indian business rules are part of the job. Invoices carry GST, reports follow your financial year and staff records follow the way your company is organised. We discuss rules for payroll and tax with you and your accountant, who has the last word on them.

Problems it solves

Where it helps

Customer records spread over many files

A CRM keeps contacts, enquiries, quotes and follow-ups in one place, with a history that the whole team can see.

Billing done by hand

Invoices typed again and again invite errors. Billing and accounts software creates GST invoices from the same records and shows what is paid and what is due.

Stock counts that do not match

Inventory (stock) software records every receipt and issue, so you can see what is on the shelf and what to reorder.

Leave, attendance and payroll on paper

An HR and payroll system keeps staff records, leave and monthly salary data in one place and prepares the sheets your accountant needs.

Staff and partners asking for information

An internal portal gives each person a login to see only their own orders, documents or tasks.

What you get

  • A written specification of what the system does, agreed before the build
  • The system itself, with logins and roles for each kind of user
  • Reports and exports your accountant and managers need
  • Import of your existing data from spreadsheets or the old system
  • Documentation and a hand-over session for your staff
  • The source code and access, handed over as the quote states
  • Support afterwards, if you want it (see maintenance)

Technology

  • PHP / Laravel
  • Python
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • MySQL / MariaDB
  • PostgreSQL
  • REST APIs
  • PDF and spreadsheet export
  • Linux

The system can run on our cloud servers or on a managed server if you want that, but you can host it anywhere.

How it works

From brief to handover

Every project starts with a short brief and a written quote. How a software project starts.

  1. 01 · BRIEF

You tell us what the software must do, who uses it and which systems it must work with. The form takes five minutes.

  2. 02 · QUOTE

We ask our questions, then send a written quote: scope, milestones, price in rupees + 18% GST and the payment schedule.

  3. 03 · BUILD

We build in milestones and you review each one. Changes in scope are agreed in writing first.

  4. 04 · HANDOVER

You get the code, the access details and the documentation, then support from us if you want it.

Questions

Business systems: questions

Why not buy a ready-made product?

Often you should. If a product fits, use it. We build when it does not fit, or when you need your own process, your own reports or links to other systems.

Can you adapt the system we have now?

Often yes. We review it first and tell you plainly whether changing it or building a new one makes more sense.

Can you move our data from spreadsheets?

Yes. We check the data with you, clean it where needed and load it into the new system before it goes live.

Does it make GST invoices?

If you need it, yes. We build invoices to the layout and numbering your accountant asks for.

What does it cost and how long does it take?

We give a written quote after a short brief. It states the scope, the milestones and the price in rupees, plus 18% GST.

Who owns the software?

You do, once the work is paid for. The code lives in your repository, and we sign an NDA on request.

Tell us what you need

A short brief is enough. We reply with questions or a written quote, without obligation.
