Web applications for customers and staff: portals, booking and dashboards

A web application holds your data, knows who may see what, and does real work for your customers and your staff. We build them from the interface down to the database. A written quote follows a short brief.

What we build

A web application is software that runs in the browser and is backed by a server and a database. Examples are a client portal, a booking system, an admin panel for your operations team or a dashboard for your customers. Unlike a brochure website, it stores data, controls access and carries out tasks.

We build the whole stack: the screens people use, the server logic, the database design, sign-in and permissions, and the deployment. We prefer simple, proven designs. A well-structured single application on a sensible database serves most businesses better than a fashionable set of small services, and it costs less to run and change.

Security and speed are part of the build. That means careful checking of input, protected sessions, access limited to what each user needs, backups, and pages that stay responsive on ordinary phones and connections.

Problems it solves

Where it helps

Customers who ask by phone and email

A portal lets customers log in to see orders, documents, bookings and invoices without asking your staff each time.

Operations stuck on one office computer

A web admin panel gives your team one place to work from, from any location, with roles and a history of changes.

Bookings handled by hand

Slots, confirmations, reminders and cancellations are handled in one system instead of messages and notebooks.

Dashboards nobody trusts

We bring data from your systems into one view with clear definitions, so the numbers match their source.

An application that is slow or hard to change

We review what you have and say honestly what to keep, fix or rebuild.

What you get

  • A web application that works on desktop, tablet and phone
  • Sign-in, roles and permissions suited to your users
  • A designed database and, where useful, an API for other systems or a mobile app
  • A test site where you can try changes before they go live
  • Backups and security hardening as part of the setup
  • Source code and documentation in your own repository
  • Deployment to your server or to our cloud, as you prefer

Technology

  • PHP / Laravel
  • Node.js
  • Python / Django / FastAPI
  • React
  • Vue
  • Astro
  • MySQL / MariaDB
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Nginx / Apache
  • Unicode and web fonts
  • Right-to-left layout

The application can run on our cloud or managed servers if you want that, but you are never required to use them.

Multilingual websites

A website in your customers' own language is easier to trust and easier to find. A multilingual site is more than translated text. Each language needs its own pages and addresses, the right language tags so search engines show the correct version, fonts that display every script, and a layout that suits the language.

Right-to-left languages such as Arabic need the whole page mirrored, including menus, forms and icons. Indian languages need suitable fonts, correct line breaking and careful testing on phones. We set all of this up, with a language switcher and linked language versions.

Translation needs a reader who knows the language. We work with your translators, or discuss how to find reviewers, and a native speaker should read each language before it goes live. Our checks catch missing translations, broken links and layout faults in every version. We cannot promise search rankings. We can add languages to an existing site once we have assessed how it was built.

How it works

From brief to handover

Every project starts with a short brief and a written quote. How a software project starts.

  1. 01 · BRIEF

You tell us what the software must do, who uses it and which systems it must work with. The form takes five minutes.

  2. 02 · QUOTE

We ask our questions, then send a written quote: scope, milestones, price in rupees + 18% GST and the payment schedule.

  3. 03 · BUILD

We build in milestones and you review each one. Changes in scope are agreed in writing first.

  4. 04 · HANDOVER

You get the code, the access details and the documentation, then support from us if you want it.

Questions

Web applications: questions

Which language or framework will you use?

The one that fits your needs and your team. We commonly use Laravel, Node.js, Django and FastAPI on the server, and React, Vue or plain server-rendered pages on the front end.

Will the application work on mobile?

Yes. Everything we build is responsive. If you need an installable experience, we can add progressive web app features, or build a mobile app on the same API.

Can you take over an existing web application?

Yes. We review the code first and give you an honest view of what to keep, fix or rebuild.

How do you handle security?

We check input, use parameterised queries, protect sessions, limit access to what each user needs and keep libraries updated. We do not claim formal certifications. We apply careful, standard engineering practice.

Which languages can a multilingual site use?

Most languages, including Indian languages and right-to-left scripts such as Arabic. We confirm fonts and layout for your chosen languages at the start.

How do you price and take payment?

We do not publish prices. After a short brief we send a written quote. Payment is by IT Labs India invoice with a payment link, and GST at 18% is added.

Tell us what you need

A short brief is enough. We reply with questions or a written quote, without obligation.
