Customer verification

1. Why we verify

Our data-centre provider requires us to identify every customer. So IT Labs India verifies each customer before a service is set up. This step comes after we confirm the price and before you pay.

2. What we ask for

• Your name.
• Your postal address.
• Your phone number.
• Your email address. We confirm it with a code that we send to it.
• For businesses: your PAN or GSTIN.
• For individuals: a government photo ID.

We may ask for further documents. The exact rules may change when our data-centre provider tells us what it needs.

3. If details are false

We may refuse an order, or end a service, if the details you gave are false.

4. How we use these details

We use them only to verify you, to invoice you and to meet our legal duties. See the Privacy policy for how we store them and for your rights.
