Management reports and dashboards from the data you already have

The data is usually there. It sits in spreadsheets, a database or a business system, and someone copies it into a report every week. We build the reports and dashboards that do this for you.

What we build

A report answers a question that management asks again and again: sales by month, dues by customer, stock below the reorder level, work by team. A dashboard shows the main figures on one page, so you can see them without asking. Both are only as good as the data below them, so we start by looking at where your data is and how clean it is.

We read from the sources you already have: spreadsheets, databases and business systems. We combine them where needed and build the reports in the form people use, as a page in the browser, a PDF or a spreadsheet. Scheduled reports are created at the time you choose and sent by email to the people who need them.

We agree each report with you in writing before building it: what it shows, how each figure is calculated and who can see it. Then figures are not argued over later, because everyone knows how they were made.

Problems it solves

Where it helps

Reports copied by hand every week

A scheduled report is made from the source data at the time you choose, so nobody copies and pastes.

Different numbers in different files

We bring the data together and write down how each figure is calculated, so there is one answer.

Data locked in an old system

We read from the database or export of the system you have and build the views it never offered.

Managers who wait for a report

A dashboard shows the main figures on one page, with filters for date, branch or product.

Reports everyone can see

Logins and roles decide who sees which report, so sensitive figures stay with the right people.

What you get

  • A written list of the reports, with the meaning of each figure
  • Reports as web pages, PDF or spreadsheet downloads
  • A dashboard with the main figures and filters
  • Scheduled reports sent by email at the times you choose
  • Connections to your spreadsheets, databases or business systems
  • Logins and roles for who sees what
  • Documentation, and support afterwards if you want it

Technology

  • SQL
  • MySQL / MariaDB
  • PostgreSQL
  • Python
  • PHP
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Charts in the browser
  • CSV, Excel and PDF export
  • Scheduled jobs on Linux

Reports and dashboards can run on our cloud servers or on a managed server if you want that, but it is never required.

How it works

From brief to handover

Every project starts with a short brief and a written quote. How a software project starts.

  1. 01 · BRIEF

You tell us what the software must do, who uses it and which systems it must work with. The form takes five minutes.

  2. 02 · QUOTE

We ask our questions, then send a written quote: scope, milestones, price in rupees + 18% GST and the payment schedule.

  3. 03 · BUILD

We build in milestones and you review each one. Changes in scope are agreed in writing first.

  4. 04 · HANDOVER

You get the code, the access details and the documentation, then support from us if you want it.

Questions

Reports and dashboards: questions

Can you make reports from our spreadsheets?

Yes. We check the sheets with you, agree what is a source of truth and build the reports from them. If the spreadsheets get too messy, we say so and suggest options.

Can you read from our existing system?

Usually yes, through its database, an export or an interface it offers. We check this at the start and write it in the quote.

Can reports arrive by email on a schedule?

Yes. You choose the day and time, and the people who receive each report.

Will you change our existing system?

Not unless you ask. Reports read the data and leave the source alone.

What does it cost?

We give a written quote after a short brief. GST at 18% is added.

Tell us what you need

A short brief is enough. We reply with questions or a written quote, without obligation.
